XP not Booting??

Try to turn on your PC and it manages to pass just that black BIOS screen but never see the XP loading? or It just manages to get into the Welcome screen? Well here are some tips you can try out.

Problem can be caused by two things

SOFTWARE - drivers, corrupted XP, Virus infections etc

HARDWARE - loose RAMs, faulty Hard drives, burnt hardware etc

Lets look at both these instances seperately

SOFTWARE Problems

The first thing you can do is try to boot in SafeMode
* To do this you can switch on your PC and keep pressing F8 till you get a screen with different menus.
* Choose SafeMode - Might take sometime on some PCs
* IF you are able to log in with SafeMode, try and remove any newly installed Software and/or Drivers.
* Check your startup items (click here to see how)
